Age Limit - 40 yrs
1. The candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and has not attained the age of more than 40 years.
2. Age relaxation for SC/ST & OBC candidates up to a maximum period of 05 years
3. In case of Divyang/ Disabled/ Handicapped candidates, the age relaxation is up
to maximum period of 10 years
4. In case of Permanent Government Employees who have rendered not less than 3
years regular and continuous service in the relevant field, age relaxation up to
maximum period of 5 years as per the Government Orders of Govt of UP, Karmik Anubhag -4 Ref No. -2-E.M./2001-Ka-42013 dated 27.08.2013 is applicable.

1. (i) B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing /B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute or University;OR
B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute or University;
OR
2. (i) Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute / Board or Council;
(ii) Registered as Nurses & Midwife in State / Indian Nursing Council; Two years‟ experience in a minimum 50 bedded Hospital after acquiring the educational qualification mentioned at II (i) above

Selection Process:
The selection process consists of two stages (Screening Test and Main Examination), and both exams in Hindi and English).
a) Screening Test:

Eligibility for the Main Exam: Qualifying the screening test is a prerequisite for appearing in the main examination.

Not the Final Result: The result of the screening test will not be considered as the final selection.

No Claims Based on Screening Result: No claims for final selection will be accepted based on the result of the screening test.

Screening Test Marks Not Counted for Main Exam: The marks obtained in the screening test will not be considered for the main exam.

Eligibility for Main Exam: Only those candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks in the screening test will be shortlisted for the main exam, and the selection will be based on the category-wise top 10 times the number of vacancies available.
b) Main Exam:

Final Selection Based on Main Exam Marks: The final selection will be based solely on the marks obtained in the main examination.

Merit List for Final Selection: The final selection will be made based on the merit list, considering category-based reservations.
