Here’s an updated breakdown of the GMCH Chandigarh Nursing Officer (2025) written exam syllabus and pattern:



Exam Pattern

  • Written Exam will be of 100 Multiple choice objective type questions having TWO Parts.
  •  PART-1 will have 70 questions on Subject Knowledge of concerned post (i.e. Nursing)
  •  PART-2 will have 30 Practical Assessment type questions (From the relevant Fields) 
  • Each question will be of one marks and there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. No Scribe is permissible as Reading and Writing are Functional Requirements
  • The exam will be conducted offline (OMR-based) in English 
  • Candidates must score at least 50% overall (45% PWD, 40% SC) in each section
